Azerbaijani climbers open climbing season
On 6 May 6morning the Azerbaijani climbers went to Dagestan to take part in climbing organized by the Mountaineering Federation of Dagestan. Our climbers plan to make trial climbing on Shalbuzdag (4142 meters height), and then together with their Russian counterparts to commit joint ascent to Bazarduzu (4466 meters) the highest point of Azerbaijan and Dagestan.
The team includes 11 climbers from the "National mountaineering and tourism club", "Nikoil", "snow leopard", "mountain-sports club" and Dolphin Baku, the press service of the Mountaineering Federation of Azerbaijan. Team member Firuz Dadashov said: "At the place we meet colleagues from the Mountaineering Federation of Dagestan. Once again, we will agree with them climbing routes, and hope that the weather will not let you down," he said. For beginners will be held the necessary theoretical and practical training, after which they will take control of the ascent route 1B category. Climbing the Bazarduzu is possible in several categories of complexity, from the 1st to the 4th category.-02D-
