Azerbaijani graduates of GIPA establish NGO
Azerbaijani students and graduates of the Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management under the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA) created a public association "Caucasus-Azerbaijan journalism program."
The goal of NGO is to coordinate communication between the students and alumni of the school, contribution to the professional development of media, the development of independent media and freedom of expression. The NGO will manage.
According to the interim chairman of NGO Khanum Javadova, creation of the union will allow to develop Azerbaijani journalism more actively and successfully.
Member of the working group of NGOs Azar Nazarov said that documents for state registration will be applied to the Ministry of Justice in the near future.
Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management operates in Tbilisi since 2001 with the support of the U.S. government, and trains journalists from the three countries of the South Caucasus. -06D-
