Azerbaijani IPS Graduates Can Gain Practical Experience in Germany
The delegation of the German Parliament will visit Azerbaijan on September 15-16, Turan was told in the embassy of Germany in Baku.
According to the same source, during the visit, the delegation, headed by Bundestag deputy Manfred Selmer will select candidates from Azerbaijan to the International Parliamentary Scholarship for 2016.
During the visit meetings with representatives of political, economic and educational spheres and IPS alumni are planned.
The fellows will have an opportunity to pass the practice next to one of the deputies of the Bundestag, as well as get registered as students at one of the University of Berlin.
As part of the IPS from 1 March to 31 July 2016, 120 scholars from 41 countries will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the parliamentary system of Germany.
The program is fully funded and implemented by the Bundestag in cooperation with Berlin's three universities.
From December on, the German Embassy will be accepting applications for participation in the IPS program. More general information can be accessed via the link http://www.bundestag.de/ips.

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
