individual identification of all land, including ownership of private traders, will be made in the Khachmaz district. Prepared on the basis of this work, the electronic map will be included in the overall system, the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan said.
This is only part of the mass introduction of e-Agriculture across the country, and the said area is a starting point of the project prepared jointly with the Italian specialists.
According to experts in rural economy, this system is widely used in developed countries and is part of the institutional structural reforms, as it facilitates the formation of the issuance of subsidies to farmers and increases the transparency. In addition, it creates the conditions for a rapid and adequate access to subsidies to bypass bureaucratic obstacles.
If the new system using satellite imagery is used, based on the experience of advanced countries, and not for show, it will allow significant improvement of the productivity and performance, experts said. --17D-
