The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan will hold Open Day in military units on the occasion of Gurban Bayram (Holy Sacrifice Day) on September 11.
As the Defense Ministry press service said, on this day visitors, members of the public and the media will be able to get acquainted with the living conditions and life in military units. They will have the opportunity to explore the service and administrative buildings, soldiers' dormitories and canteens.
In addition, with the participation of management staff, in different units there will be meetings with parents of soldiers. Their questions will be discussed and concerts and other cultural events will be held.
Gurban Bayram is celebrated on 12-13 September. -16D-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
