Elchin Behbudov to Visit Islamists
The head of the Committee against Torture Elchin Behbudov plans to monitor the detention places of the protesters caught by police in front of the Ministry of Education on October 5.
Behbudov told Turan that he has no official information about the places of their detention. He explained this with his absence in Baku. "I came back this morning. In connection with the coming weekend, the monitoring can be only done on Monday," said Behbudov.
According to Behbudov, the detained Islamists will face criminal rather than administrative charges. -06B-
