Electric Locomotive Derailed in Ujar
At 2:00 a.m. on May 27 an electric locomotive was derailed on the territory of the Ujar region. The incident occurred at the Alikend station. There were no injuries, the press secretary of JSC Azerbaijan Railways Nadir Azmammadov told Turan. According to him, the movement of trains in the direction of Gazakh has been restored by the morning.
Turan reported from the scene that a few dozen meters of the railroad was destroyed. Repairmen removed the broken ties, replacing them by new ones, and restored the railroad.
Due to the road repair, the movement of road transport was blocked, which led to a big traffic jam. -03B-
