The Council of Cadis of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) announced the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan on 7 June.
From that day the Oruj month of fasting will start. The Fasting will complete on July 6, and the day will be celebrated on the feast of Ramadan.
In connection with Ramadan, a special calendar for the faithful has been made, constantly indicating the beginning and end of the period of fasting (sunrise and sunset), as well as the size of zakyat (almsgiving to help the poor).
