
Explosion at Defense Plant in Shirvan Caused by Short Circuit
The cause of the explosion at the defense plant Telemekhanika in the city of Shirvan on 6 July was a short circuit that led to a fire. As a result of the fire, an explosion occurred in one of the workshops, said the official report.
As you know, a man was killed and 19 were injured. Three of them were sent in Baku, one of them in serious condition. A few people will continue outpatient treatment, hospital doctors said.
Note that details of the incident were not disclosed. A criminal case was filed on violation of safety rules. -02D-
