Iranian Tried to Smuggle Opium under Guise of Sweets
Baku / 13.12.19 / Turan: On December 11, an Iranian citizen Asadi Ramin Sedig was detained at the Astara checkpoint of the Iran-Azerbaijan border.
On a personal search, there was a box of chocolates with a double bottom in his luggage. Upon examination, 25 packages of opium wrapped in candy wrappers were discovered. The total weight of the drugs was 2 kg 137 g. An investigation has been launched on the fact, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan said. -02D-
