Military expert Ildrim Mamedov dies
Military expert, a retired Colonel Ildrim Mamedov, died suddenly. Today, his funeral will be held in his native village of Gapanli in Terter region.
Career military servant Ildyrym Mammadov was born in 1951. He served in Germany and Russia, graduated from the Higher Military School in Novosibirsk and Moscow Military Academy.
Since 1991, he served in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, where he rose to the position of commander of the military unit. In 1999-2002 he was a senior lecturer at the Higher Military School.
Since 2007 he was the director of the Centre for Military Analytical Researches. -03D04-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
