Police Advise Activist to Grow Wiser
Baku / 15.05.17 / Turan: A former political prisoner, youth activist Elvin Abdullayev was summoned to the main police department of Baku city on May 15.
According to Abdullayev himself, they talked to him for half an hour. "They did not tell me specifically why they invited me. But it became clear to me that this was due to my status in Facebook on May 10.
I was warned and advised to be "grow wiser", Abdullayev said.
As for the status of the activist on May 10, he wrote that this date entered the history of Azerbaijan not as Heydar Aliyev's birthday, but as the day of arrest and heroism of Bayram Mammadov and Giyas Ibrahimov.

"We should all be like Giyas, like Bayram. We should not be slaves to the regime. Do not bow your head to the regime, do not be submissive," Abdullayev wrote.
