Official newspapers widely reported the working visit of President Ilham Aliyev to France and published the President's decree on awarding a large group of workers in the petroleum industry.

Azadlig published the statement of the former Rector of a private university Elshad Abdullayev living in exile. Bizim Yol described the identification of financial irregularities in the State University of Languages ?by the Chamber of Accounts ?as "shock corruption charge" against the Rector Samad.
