Protest rally in front of Iranian embassy in Baku

Baku/29.09.22/Turan: On September 29, in the afternoon, a protest rally was held in front of the Iranian Embassy in Baku against violations of the rights of citizens and repressions against women in Iran.

As a Turan correspondent reported from the spot, Several dozen participants in the action chanted: "Freedom to South Azerbaijan!", "Down with the mullah regime!", "Death to Iran!", "Down with the dictator!" , Turan correspondebt reported from the  spot.

Then they read out the appeal and handed it over to the embassy. The police in front of the embassy did not intervene and there were not incident.

*After the death  of a young woman, Mahsa Amini in TEhran on September 16, who was arrested by the vice police, mass protests began in the country. Dozens of protesters were killed during the crackdown on protests in various provinces of Iran. At the same time, protests began in South Azerbaijan, where ethnic Azerbaijanis demand security of national and cultural rights. --016--
