Ramin Hajili is reelected the president of AED
Third Congress of the Azerbaijani European Movement (AED), which re-formed the governing bodies of the organization. The AED reelected president Ramin Hajili, vice president of Leila Mammadli, Mardan Efendiyev and Sevinj Hajizadeh. The congress also formed the board of 14 people and Auditing Commission of three members. It was decided to hold a congress every two years.
AED has positioned itself as an independent youth organization dedicated to the promotion of European values and promotes the development of Azerbaijan's relations with Europe.
The first congress of AED was on 17 February, 2012. In September of the same year, AED became a full member of the International European Movement, and was registered in the Ministry of Justice.
AED has clubs in 14 regions of the country. In May 2012, the most memorable were shares of AED: European march on the boulevard in Baku, as well as flash mobs, and the organization, together with the EU, "European town" in Baku. -06D-
