Saleh Rustamov's forces are running out – attorney
Baku/03.12.21/Turan: On December 3, lawyer Bahruz Bayramov visited the political prisoner Saleh Rustamov at the Medical Institution of the Penitentiary Service, who has been on a hunger strike for 28 days. Rustamov's health is deteriorating and he has already lost 17 kg, the lawyer said.
The lawyer noted that today Rustamov was examined by doctors of the International Committee of the Red Cross. “Both the doctors of the Medical Institution and the doctors of the Red Cross stated that the hunger strike is at the stage when a person can die at any moment. Nevertheless, Saleh Rustamov is adamant and intends to continue the hunger strike,” the lawyer said.
