Sheikh accuses of hypocrisy those who do not recognize the genocide in Karabakh

The head of the  Caucasus Muslims Department , Allahshukur  Pashazade received  the delegation of the Council of Representatives of Jewish Institutions of France He spoke at the meeting about the current religious situation in the country, recalling that under the Soviet regime in Azerbaijan there were only 17 mosques, 2 synagogues  and two Orthodox churches. Pashazadeh noted that the situation after the collapse of the Soviet Union has changed dramatically.

The head of the Council of Representatives of Jewish Institutions in France, Roger Zuckerman, in turn, noted that  religious tolerance observed in Azerbaijan  can become a role model.

Zuckerman asked Pashazade  to clarify the question of the participation of representatives of Azerbaijani youth in terrorist groups in Muslim countries.

Pashazade, in turn, asked the opinion Zuckerman on  the "Armenian genocide". Zuckerman said the genocide in 1915 took place, but this does not apply to the events in Nagorno-Karabakh.

"We can be friends with both Azerbaijanis and Armenians,"  he said.

Pashazade, in turn, said that the recognition of the genocide in 1915,  and keeping  silence about the genocide against the Azerbaijanis of Nagorno-Karabakh is hypocrisy. -05C04-
