Sheikh suggested perpetuation of the name of Nabat Ashurbeyli

Caucasus Muslims Office ( CMO) head , Sheikh Pashazade took the initiative to rename the street on which the central mosque of the country Taza Pir is located.

Addressing the chief executive of the capital, Pashazade offered to remove from the street the name of the Turkish Communist Mustafa Subhi, which few people knew in his native Turkey, and in Russia , where he lived for a long time .

Sheikh offered to name the street after Nabat Khanum Ashurbeyli - patron of the early 20th century. The mosque Taza Pir was built by this famous representative of the Azerbaijani bourgeoisie of the early twentieth century. And Nabat Khanum was buried on the grounds of the mosque Taza Pir .

* Mustafa Subhi was the leader of the Turkish Communist Party in the early 1920s . The Bolsheviks tried to use him to export their revolution to Turkey. However, Subhi was killed by other Communists in Trabzon in 1921. -05D-
