Baku/07.04.22/Turan: On Friday, April 8, partly cloudy weather is expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula, mostly without precipitation. A stronger southwesterly wind will prevail. The air temperature will be +7+9 at night, +15+20 in the daytime, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.
Precipitation is expected in some regions of Azerbaijan, thunderstorms are possible, snow in the mountains. During the day it will be mostly rainless with gusty winds from the west.
The air temperature at night will be +5 + 10, in the daytime + 20 + 25, in the mountains at night - 0 + 5, in the daytime + 9 + 14. -06B-

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
