
Snowfall Does Not Affect Work at Baku Airport
The snowfall that started in Baku and Absheron in the early morning of December 12 continued throughout the day and will last for days, forecasters said.
The air temperature in the capital dropped to zero degrees, with a strong north-westerly wind.
The snow hampered traffic mainly on the outskirts of the city and in mountainous areas.
In the regions of the country, the weather will be similar - snow, wind and low temperatures. In the central regions, temperatures will be near zero during the day and down to -5 at night. In the upland areas, there will be intense snowfalls and frost with temperatures falling to 5-6 degrees below zero during the day and down to minus 13 at night.
