Baku/14.01.22/Turan: Snow fell in most regions of Azerbaijan, heavy rainfall in some places. This is reported by the National Hydrometeorological Service on January 14 at 11:00 am.
The height of snow cover made up 22 cm in Khynalyg, 21 cm in Sarybash (Gakh), 20 cm in Agdere (Ordubad), Gedabay - 19 cm, Kryz - 15 cm, Khaltan - 12 cm, Dashkesan and Nakhichevan - 10 cm, Altyaghach - 8 cm, Shahbuz - 7 cm, Geigel - 6 cm, Gusar - 4 cm, Guba, Gobustan, Kishchay - 3 cm, Gabala, Kalvaz - 1 cm.
The speed of north-west wind in the regions reached 28 m/sec; in Baku and Absheron - 27 m/sec. In the Absheron sea region the wind got up to 25 m/sec. Wave heights on the Oil Rocks reached 5.2 meters.-05D06-

In a bid to modernize and regulate the taxi industry in Baku, mobile patrols of the state traffic police have launched a series of raids aimed at ensuring that taxi drivers comply with newly established requirements. These patrols, conducted in collaboration with the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), have also extended to the neighboring city of Sumgayit, according to the Baku City State Traffic Police Department.
