Baku / 10/17/18 / Turan: On 7 October, Ahmed Mohammad Masum, born in 1998 and Moksu Mohammad Muminur, born in 1999, who arrived form Sharja , were detained because of presenting false passports. On October 8, Pakistani citizens Ashraf Muhammad, born in 1985, was detained at the state border checkpoint Shikhly: and Ahmed Bilal, born in 2003. Their passports contained fake Greek and Schengen visas. On October 9, a fake Canadian visa was found in the passport of an Indian citizen Gurpreet Singh, born in 1998, who flew to Istanbul.
On the same day, a fake Italian passport was revealed from an Iranian citizen, Abedi Iman, born in 1990, when trying to transit the flight Tehran-Baku-London.
On October 14, a fake passport was discovered at an Italian citizen Mshainesh Ahmad (born in 1961), who arrived from Sharjah. During a search, a Syrian passport belonging to another person was discovered. As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
