Taleh Bagirzadeh Imprisoned in Solitary Confinement
The leader of the Muslim Unity movement Taleh Bagirzadeh accused on the Nardaran case was put in a solitary confinement cell for five days on November 26. This was reported at today's meeting in the Baku Court of Grave Crimes by another accused, Deputy Chairman of Muslim Unity Abbas Huseynov.
In turn, the defendant’s lawyer Yalcin Imanov told Turan IA the reason for the punishment was his article on the website of the Azadlig newspaper, dated November 26, on the anniversary of the Nardaran events in 2015.
Recall that a year ago, the Interior Ministry conducted a special operation in Nardaran, as a result of which six people were killed, including two police officers.
In the course of a special operation in Nardaran and other regions in the following few days, more than 70 people were arrested.
Currently, the Baku Court of Grave Crimes is holding the trial of 18 defendants, including Bagirzadeh. -0-
