The authorities sanctioned the opposition rally with the demand to liberate Karabakh
Baku / 26.09.18 / Turan: On September 29, at the Mehsul Stadium in Yasamal district of the capital, a rally of opposition forces will be held, advocating an armed struggle to liberate the occupied territories.
According to the head of the Karabakh Liberation Organization, Akif Nagi, the rally will begin at 3 pm and will last for two hours. "The main slogan of the action is "Freedom for Karabakh," said Akif Nagi.
It should be reminded that earlier a group of public figures and opposition politicians held a round table, which opposed the forthcoming visit of Russian President V.Putin to Baku.
As a result of the event, a statement was adopted that condemned the proposals on Azerbaijan's accession to the CSTO, and Russia was accused of seeking to regain control of the post-Soviet countries.
The involvement of Azerbaijan in the format of cooperation of the Caspian states is accepted by the opposition as a refusal of the country from its sovereign foreign policy. -03D-
