The next wave of arrest of young activists
In the city of Agastafa (460 km from Baku) was arrested an activist of the Popular Front Party of Sumgait Vusal Zeynalov. According to the deputy head of the party Geza Bayramli, an activist is accused of resisting the police, and the local court arrested him for 20 days. The real reason for his arrest is criticism of the authorities in the social networks. Two other young activists from the NIDA Movement were arrested in the city of Ganja. According to the activists’ colleagues Taptig Mamedov and Elmir Tahmin, they were arrested for 30 days after on November 5 they painted on the wall in the park of the Heydar Aliyev political slogans: "No dictatorship!" and "No Corruption!". -03B-
