Two Projects Implemented as Part of Grant Program by Government of Japan
In the village of Gezli in Sabirabad, the opening ceremony of a new hospital will be arranged on September 14. The conference will be attended by the Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan Shusuke Watanabe and the Chief Executive of the District Nazim Ismailov. The hospital was built on the basis of the grant of the Government of Japan. The Grant Agreement was signed between the Embassy of Japan and the youth association Ireli (Forward) on March 16 this year. The project cost U.S. $ 110,343.
Five projects, including the specified hospital, have been implemented in Sabirabad for a total of 447,450 U.S. dollars.
On September 15, the opening ceremony of a medical facility will be conducted in the village Shingedulan in the Lerik district. The ceremony will be attended by the Ambassador of Japan Shusuke Watanabe and the Chief Executive of the district Rovshan Baghirov. For this project a grant agreement between the Embassy of Japan and the public association Support of Local Government was also signed on March 16. The project cost 102,696 dollars. Two projects for a total of U.S. $ 183,609 have been completed in Lerik.
In total, the Japanese government has implemented the program Human Development and Security with 154 projects amounting to 11,816,275 dollars. -04D-
