Young activists mark the 40th day of the death of oilmen
On January 13 is the 40th day from the date of the accident at the offshore field "Guneshli", where 33 oil workers died tragically. On this occasion, representatives of the youth Movements NIDA and D18 came to the seaside boulevard, where they laid red carnations in memory of the victims. Some action participants threw carnations into the sea. The ceremony was not attended by representatives of official structures, although the information was announced in advance.
On the seafront at the ceremony were a lot of police and men in civilian clothes, who in the course of the action did not interfere.
* On December 4, 2015 as a result of fire on the platform №10 on the field "Guneshli" 33 oilmenwere missing, a few days before the incident disappeared three more oilmen. Since that time, rescuers found the bodies of a 13 oilmen. -03C04-

During search and operational activities, on January 30 at 11:20, 16.4 kg of drugs were discovered and seized in the area of the "Geytapa" border post, located on the Iran-Azerbaijan border. According to the Azerbaijan Border Service, this prevented an attempt to smuggle into Azerbaijan 11.3 kg of marijuana, 5.1 kg of opium, and 1,990 methadone M-40 pills from Iran.
