Hikmet Hajiyev: Two Armenian Su-25 Fighter Aircraft Crashed into Mountain
Baku / 30.09.20 / Turan: According to the information available to the Azerbaijani side, on September 29, two Su-25 fighter jets took off on the territory of Armenia and later crashed into a mountain and exploded. Aide to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev told journalists.
The statements that the Turkish F-16 shot down the Armenian Su-25 jet are absurd and aim to hide the real cause of the plane crash, Hajiyev said.
“This suggests that the Armenian leadership is giving out incorrect information to its public. It would be nice if the military leadership of Armenia reported on the second plane and its pilot, rather than blaming other parties.
We recommend that Armenia provide its society with information about the purpose for which two Su-25 jets took off and under what conditions they exploded,” he said. –71D-
