The deputy who criticized the parliament was reprimanded

Baku/28.04.23/Turan: On Fridaym, the  Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis reprimanded Deputy Vahid Ahmedov for his statements last week in an interview with the Internet channel "Sanjag".

The MP criticized the work of the parliament, calling the majority of deputies "unelected". According to him, there is little sense from the work of deputies, and the social policy of the authorities is ineffective. In rural areas, unemployment is high, incomes are low.

The deputy's words caused discussions at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis on April 25, where he was accused of lying, insincerity and anti-state activities.

Vahid Ahmedov, in turn, rejected the accusations, saying that he defends the position of the state and the interests of its citizens.
