Festivities on the occasion of Novruz
Festivities on the occasion of Novruz Bayram have started in on Saturday in the capital. The ceremony began in front of the Maiden Tower, where the head of state traditionally participates with family members. Members of the government and deputies are also taking part in "public festivities". Then the participants of the ceremony went to the seaside boulevard, where the exhibition-fair is held.
For ordinary citizens the movement in the center of the capital became a problem because of the blocking of roads and traffic jams. Pedestrians were denied access to Primorsky Boulevard. From 18 to 26 March inclusive in Azerbaijan non-working days.
Novruz comes on March 20 at 14:29. On March 19 will be marked Bayram Akhshamy.-06D--

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
