Presentation of the new book and movie by Rustam Ibragimbekov
The Union of Cinematographers of Azerbaijan presented a new book "The Shell of the Sun" and movie "Farewell Southern City" by the world famous Azerbaijani screenwriter and director, Rustam Ibrahimbayov. Prominent figures of culture and arts, and other members of the public and journalists, as well as employees of foreign diplomatic missions came attended the ceremony.
They watched the film "Farewell Southern City", directed by Oleg Safaraliyev. In 2006, the film won the national award of the fifth "Golden Chirag" prize in three categories: " The Best Feature Film", " The Best Screenplay", and " the Best Actor".
The film is about the relationship between urban populations and refugees who migrated to Baku as a result of the Karabakh conflict. The plot of the film covers the events of a short time - one summer season.
The actors involved in the film are: Fuad Poladov, Fakhraddin Manafov, Teymur Badalbeyli, Mehriban Zeki, Rafiq Aliyev, Kamal Khudaverdiyev, Sanubar Iskenderli etc. -26D06-

Ahmet Güneştekin answered questions from Turan Information Agency a few days after the opening of his solo exhibition, Lost Alphabet, held in the 8,000-square-meter indoor halls of the Feshane Cultural Center, managed by the Istanbul Municipality. The exhibition, inaugurated by Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, will remain open until July 20.
