By Presidential order, 2013 has been declared the Year of Information and Communication Technologies. Expectations were not outlined, but reference was mad to existing achievements.
The statement refers to upcoming events such as preparations for the launch of a national satellite. The Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Communications were requested to prepare action plans and submit them to the President in a month. -02D-
