Another insurance company on the verge of collapse
Insurance company "Azerqarant Sigorta" in the first quarter has collected a total 142.58 thsd manat. That means three times the gap compared to the same period last year. All premiums collected on voluntary insurance.
According to Turan in the company, in the structure of revenues from insurance premiums accidents totaled 119 thousand manats, 83.5% of premiums.
Hull insurance of cars collected 11.67 thsd manat and for property insurance against fire and other risks there was 11.81 million manat. Voluntary health insurance (VHI) collected only 100 manats. This is not the first company to weaken each quarter and to be a candidate for termination of the license the Ministry of Finance.
Insurance payments of "Azerqarant Sigorta" for January-March of the current year amounted to 46.95 thsd manat, decreased compared to the same period last year, more than three times.
The bulk of payments again fell on accidents - 34.31 thsd manat, then Hull car insurance - in the amount of 12.48 thsd manat. In addition, the company compensated 159 AZN at VHI.
The company "Azerqarant Sigorta" registered in November 1997, in 2008, obtained a license for a period of 5 years.
Its founder is the one individual. The registered capital is 5.61 million manat.
The company provides 24 types of insurance activities, three of which - mandatory and 21 - voluntary.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
