Audit Found Almost Double Gain at A-GROUP
Insurance Company A-GROUP for the last year has increased the level of capitalization - its total assets amounted to 17.69 million manat, which is almost twice as much as last year. Net profit mainly due to voluntary health insurance (VHI) was 1.63 million manat.
According to the company's financial statements, the auditor's report confirmed that, last year, the total income of the company amounted to 11 million 939.35 thousand manats. Of these premiums were at the level of 13 million 895.44 thousand manats, which is the highest level of the company for the time being.
Premiums received from reinsurance operations amounted to 200.32 thousand manats, and investment income was 577.73 thousand manats.
Total expenditure of the company for the year 2012 amounted to 10 million 310.78 thousand manats. The volume of insurance payments amounted to 6 million 103.67 thousand manats, to conduct insurance business - AZN 1 million 725.37 thsd, and the cost of reinsurance - 2.29 million manat. Last year, the return on premiums totaled 113.08 thousand manats.
In addition, up to 8 million 601.16 thousand manats increased the amount of deposits placed in banks (30.5%).
The insurance company began operations in 1995 and provides services on 17 types of insurance.
The founders of the company are a PhD, President of Medi Club Sabir Adnayev and two other individuals.
The company is a leader for many years the collection of premiums and payment of medical insurance.
