Azerbaijan Creates Digital Trading Hub
President Ilham Aliyev signed February 22 a decree providing for the expansion of foreign trade, especially exports of Azerbaijani non-oil goods, by means of digital technology. To this end, the Center for the Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC) commissioned to create the portal www.azexport.az section Digital Trade Hub of Azerbaijan.
By means of an electronic assembly taxpayers of Azerbaijan will be able to implement the electronic exchange of documents with foreign partners and to conclude electronic contracts.
Exporters of goods, providing these services by e-commerce will be able to obtain the required authorization, also to fill the export declarations at a single electronic declaration. To provide this functionality, the communication between the government agencies integrated with the portal www.azexport.az will be implemented in real time. Payment for the products provided by this portal will also be provided online.
Non-residents of Azerbaijan will be created the possibility of obtaining a digital signature Asan Imza in embassies and consulates of Azerbaijan abroad.
To realize these works CAERC has been allocated 450 thousand manat. -----08D
