Azerbaijani Farmers Purchase Tractors at Two Times the Value
In the first quarter of this year Minsk Tractor Works sent to Azerbaijan 272 wheeled tractors, which are sold here at approximately two-fold the factory prices.
According to the National Statistics Committee of Belarus, the total amount of purchases of tractors from Azerbaijan totaled $ 5 million 50.1 thousand, or $ 18,567 per unit technology. The Azerbaijan Customs in January-March this year passed 266 tractors Belarus, which had been registered for $ 21,863 per unit. State JSC Agroleasing offers (http://agrolizing.gov.az/upload/t.texnika.pdf) this machinery to farmers for 35,700 manats. In 2013, Azerbaijan purchased in Belarus 1,168 wheel tractors worth $ 24 million 247.4 thousand. In 2014 it purchased 1,028 ($ 27 235.7 thousand).
The procurement of Belarusian tractor is arranged by Ganja Automobile Plant, where their assembly is carried out. Next Ganja Plant transmits the machinery to Agroleasing JSC for sale to farmers on leasing. 08B
