Baku / 20.09.17 / Turan: The group of companies Azersun Holding, the largest producer of agricultural products and processed goods in Azerbaijan, announced the merger of its three companies on September 20. Earlier, the company liquidated part of its companies in the same way, and several companies ceased operations without transferring the rights to other companies.
The LLC Production Associations Farmer Yag and Sweet Star merged with LLC Baki Qida ve Yag. These companies are engaged in the production of vegetable and melted oils, and chocolate cream.
In September, the companies Meridian Denizcilik ve Idareetme, Mugan Energy and Azersun Akademiyasi, which also belong to this holding, also announced their liquidation.
In 2016, the group of companies Azersun Holding, which includes at least 15 companies in various spheres of the real economy, gained net profit of 44.6 million manat, which is 4 times more than in 2015. The group"s annual turnover was 822 million manat. This is 0.5 billion manat more than in the previous year. The holding"s assets exceeded 574 million manat at the beginning of 2017. -----08D
