Bakcell Supports Young Project Participants Startup
The first local mobile operator and provider of mobile Internet company Bakcell continues to support the young people in the project Startup Azerbaijan, carried out by the Azerbaijan Internet Forum.
According to the press service, the purpose of the project is to improve the investment climate in the ICT sector in the country , promoting the best Internet and IT projects, as well as the transformation of innovative ideas into successful business projects .
The next event in the Startup project titled " On the way to a successful business ," organized by the Azerbaijan Internet Forum with the general sponsorship of Bakcell, held in Baku from 7 to 9 November 2013 . The main objective of days Startup, was supporting the creation of new start-ups and providing educational activities in this regard , providing young developers with the specifics of the Internet market, and the creation of a network Startup. For three days , the participants had the opportunity to attend master classes devoted to the expansion of the network of young start-ups and work on the original version of the new start-up projects .

The results of the first project Startup Azerbaijan, implemented in the period from April to July 2013 were more than successful . On competition StartUp, organized within the framework of the project, 43 projects were submitted . 26 of them were selected to participate in the contest, and 15 projects have been in the semi-finals. As a result , six projects have been announced as winners , 3 of which - "Brandbook", "Nettrends", and "Brandevu.az" currently discussing possible cooperation with investors. Mobile version of the project "Turning Fork" was included in the final list (out of 13 candidates) competition held among 119 projects from 39 countries.
At this time the young startups shared their ideas of business. The jury chose the best ideas 6 of 22. Best ideas of the day were : "Saglam ol", "Lazimdir", "3D tours", "Baku Parking", "Crazy Smile", and "Guard". - 17D-
