Baku, April 16-18, will host joint conference EUROSAI and ARABOSAI
The Accounting Chamber of Azerbaijan is the organizer of the upcoming IV Joint Conference EUROSAI and ARABOSAI. The event will be held April 16-18 in Baku.
According to this organization (http://ach.gov.az/?/az/news/view/482), they have also defined the number of participants of the event. The conference will bring together high-level representatives from 5 international and regional organizations, SAIs, including top officials from 27 countries (about 100 representatives of 44 countries).
The event's theme "New challenges for capacity building of SAIs." As part of the discussion, participants will elaborate on such sections as "responsible government in connection with the UN General Assembly resolution A/66/209 of 22 December 2011", "The Role of Supreme Audit Institutions in the achievement of national development goals," "The importance of distinguishing external and internal control of public finances as a factor in increasing the efficiency of financial management."

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
