Buta Sigorta placed fifth of the registered emissions
Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) on 28 December placed shares of the insurance company Buta Sigorta worth 285,000 manat.
According to the company, this is the first transaction in the planned capital increase. September 17 last year was registered additional issue of 75,000 shares with a par value of AZN 20 each, the manual says this structure.
At the moment, 19% placed the amount claimed. After amplification for AZN 1.5 million registered capital amounted to 7.3 mln. Underwriter of the placement is LLC Chelsea Capital.
The insurance company Buta Sigorta (formerly called Thames Insurance Group) with a paid charter capital of AZN 6.085 million has been operating in the insurance market since 1996.
Buta Sigorta is owned by six shareholders - Qafqaz Leasing, Baku Electronics, Bank of Baku, Baku Service Company, and Auto Azerbaijan, each of which with 19% of the shares, as well as NAB Holding with a 5% interest in the equity.
The company provides services for the nominally 17 types of voluntary and three types of compulsory insurance.
In January-November, premiums reached 2.33 million manat and payments reached 232.28 thousand manats. - 17D-
