Cost of Ticket for Baku-Tbilisi Train Reduced
On April 1, CJSC Azerbaijani Railways (ASR) reduces the cost of travel by high-speed train Baku-Tbilisi by an average of 20%. The press service of ASR explained this step with the depreciation of the Swiss franc relatively to the Azerbaijani manat.
The ticket in a compartment car will cost 10 manat cheaper - 35 AZN 32 gepiks, economic-class car - 24.5 manat (- 5.62 AZN), and special car - 58.4 manat (- 25.3 AZN).
High-speed train №38/37 runs between Baku and Tbilisi on a daily basis. It is used not only by citizens of the two countries, but also those of third countries. ----08B

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance.
