Costs of Roads and Bridges Totaling Nearly 2.5 Times More than Cost of Education, Health and Science Together
Deputies of the Milli Mejlis met socially - oriented investment (66 %) of the state budget of Azerbaijan.
Speaking at today's joint meeting of the six committees dedicated to the discussion of the draft budget for 2014 the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Science and Education Shamsaddin Hajiyev noted the increase in budget spending on education, health , culture, art and science. According to him, in comparison with the year 2014 the cost of the educational sphere amount to 1 billion 653 million 445.19 thousand manats (+12 %). Health expenditure is 725 million 586.17 million ( +14%) , science - 146 million 815.9 million ( +15 %).
The MP forgot to add that the investment projects planned to spend much more than health care , science and education combined - 6 billion 281 million 954.73 thousand manats. This uncontrollable and hopeless position for the nation "eat" 31.3 % of all budget expenditures ( AZN 20 bn 63 million ) - the government annually invests billions of manats in the construction of roads and bridges, which are then repeatedly repaired with the same financial scale.
Social spending from the budget of 2 billion will transfer 72 million 233.88 thousand manats , more than half ( 1.14 billion ) of which - transfers from the State Oil Fund.
More emphasis on the so -called services that are not included in the basic position - 2 billion 670 million 806.78 thousand manat , of which 538 million is provided for a trust fund maintenance of roads. - 17D-

Azerbaijan has attracted significant interest from companies in both developing and developed countries, as well as from state and private sector representatives of at least 10 nations, regarding participation as shareholders in the Climate Finance Action Fund (CFAF), which has a total budget of $1 billion.
