Dates of International Insurance Forum in Baku Known
The final date of the next, VI Azerbaijan International Insurance Forum AIIF-2015 has been approved. The international event will be held in the capital's Fairmont Hotel 2-3 July.
As stated in the Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA), the forum will be attended by the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov, his deputy Azer Bayramov, the head of the State Insurance Supervision Service Namig Khalilov, and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy Ziyad Samadzade.
AIA is the organizer of the forum, which will create conditions for improving relations between insurers, reinsurers and brokers in the South Caucasus, Central Asia, Europe and Turkey as well as Russia and other CIS countries.
"During the forum panels will be organized by the topics “New directions for development of the business of insurance and reinsurance in the background of the current reality”, "Property insurance in the Caucasus "," Warranty reinsurance and new methods of underwriting", “Automobile insurance and new technologies market development "," Banking and life insurance," the report says.
AIIF-Forum 2015 will take place in an interactive format and will consist of plenary sessions, bilateral meetings and workshops. Its work, according to updated figures, will be attended by over 250 representatives from 25 countries. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
