European Centre for Cybercrime started
The European space will be together to fight cybercrime.
According to the Economic Information Portal (http://www.nasdaq.com/article/eu-us-agree-to-share-cybercrime-data-20130111-00230#.UPVfYR03b3A), the European Centre for the fight against these types of crime (EC3) opened in The Hague (Netherlands).
EC3 will fight against fraud with bank cards. The center's employees will be engaged in illegal online activities that are organized criminals using stolen credit cards and bank accounts.
In addition, the objectives of the Centre are combating the spread of child pornography, theft of personal and proprietary information of individuals and organizations and other crimes on the Internet.
To achieve its objectives EC3 will use open sources on the Web and to engage the private and EU law enforcement. The Centre has also become a training base for the fighters against cybercrime in the EU.
The new division headed by Truls Erting. The organization's budget for 2013 is provided in the amount of $ 4.6 million ($ 6.1 million). - 17D-
