Fees for Contracts on Compulsory Insurance Types Other Than Life Insurance Increased by 4.8% in 2016
In 2016, insurance companies entered into 1 million 152 thousand 66 contracts of compulsory insurance types other than life insurance. The total amount of contracts was 106 million 76 thousand 363 manat. Compared with 2015, the number of contracts increased by 6.8%, and the amount of fees increased by 4.8%.
In particular, 996,632 contracts on compulsory insurance of motor third party liability (MTPL) were concluded and the fees were 79.8 million manat.
The number of insurance contracts in the system Green Card amounted to 10,514 (the taxes were AZN 768,684), the number of contracts on compulsory insurance of real estate was 140,848 (the taxes of 25 million 175 thousand 705 manat), on civil liability for realty operations – 3,882 contracts (the taxes of 271,230 AZN), and on personal insurance of passengers in case of accidents - 190 contracts (the taxes of 96,953 AZN). -----71D
