Fire on Guneshli Offshore Platform Extinguished
Baku / 27.09.16 / Turan: The fire on an offshore platform in the oilfield Guneshli caused on the evening of September 26 was put out this morning, the State Oil Company (SOCAR) reported.
In its turn, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the fire was localized in the morning, and at the same time the gas leak was stopped.
After that, SOCAR specialists began repair work on the platform No 19.
Recall that at the time of the fire there were 69 people on the platform. They were all evacuated and there were no injuries. -02D-
