For the year increase in insurance premiums by 100 million manat expected
Local insurance companies for the year can collect 320 million manats.
As told reporters the chief of the State Insurance Supervision Service Finance Namik Khalilov, the forecast by more than 100 million will exceed last year's results (213 million manat) and more than twice - the results of two years ago (155.59 million manat).
According to him, the insurance market has lot of promising niches, from which the most important in capacity is agricultural insurance. The government has plans to improve the mechanism of insurance risks in this area. However, compulsory insurance of this segment of the economy is not seen as the main option. - 17D-
