Ilham Aliyev Allocates Funds for Organization of Shopping Festival
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on September 1 "On the financing of certain activities related to the development of tourism in Azerbaijan."
According to the document, in order to promote tourism and expand the possibilities of using modern information and communication technologies in this field, from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2016 the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will be allocated 800 thousand manats.
Of this sum 400,000 manats will be spent on the establishment of the Register of Tourism and another 400,000 manats - on carrying out a shopping festival in Baku.
Another decree of the President is on the annual observance of September 27 in the Republic of Azerbaijan as a professional holiday, Day of Tourism Employees.- 06D--

The companies involved were Amoco, BP, MakDermott, Yukos, ARDNŞ, LUKoyl, Statoil, Exxon, Turkish Petroleum, Pennzoil, Itochu, Remko, and Delta.
