Importers declared imports of perfumery in the amount of $ 16.6 million, 7.7 times more than in 2015.
The import value of one ton of Chinese perfume was worth $ 1,912, Russian - $ 5,068, and Turkish - $ 6,152.
French perfume is recorded at the Azerbaijan Customs at $ 54,552, Italian - $ 59,734, British - US $ 70,940, US - $ 82,481, Bahraini - $ 109,361, and Swiss - $ 147,960. After this was removed to 100-gram tubes, the declared value of one such tube of French perfume amounted to $ 43.3 in 2016, and Dubai's perfume -$ 4.4.
Last year, Azerbaijan exported to Dubai 5.62 tons of perfume, 3.9 times more than in 2015. It generated $ 243.6 thousand.
Experts estimate the trend of growth of imports and exports of perfumery with their legalization. However, so far none of the participants of foreign economic relations and the SCC has been charged and punished for such criminal phenomena. -00----
