In June, prices of construction materials rose by 0.5%
Monitoring carried out in the market of building materials, showed that in June, prices rose on average by 0.5%. The studies revealed that, in connection with the season, the market showed relative activity. Over the last month prices increased for roofing - 1%, glass - 2.4%, nails - 2.7%, boards - 4.7%, wooden boards - 1%, and gypsum boards - 1.7%.
Experts attribute the rise in prices for construction materials in June to the seasonal intensification of the construction sector, as well as rise in price of imported products from Russia. One of the entrepreneurs working in the construction sector said that in the last month illegal "duties" at customs increased. Experts say that the activity in the construction market will continue for some time. In this regard in the coming months there will be increase in prices for construction materials.

The government of Azerbaijan has amended its customs tariffs, reducing import duties on specific bicycle components to support the domestic assembly industry.
